Hello again! welcome to this lovely tuesday morning.

Today lets talk curb appeal. Now as most of you know curb appeal is how your house looks from the street. The curb appeal is a helping factor in selling your house. You know that old saying you eat with your eyes first? Well the same is for real estate,  for example if you have your house listed  and your neighbors down the block have their house listed, both are 3 bed 2 bath 1800 sq ft homes yours has a nice green cut grass and tasteful landscaping, but your neighbors has no landscaping and grass not cut or brown spots, whos house is going to get more showing? Your right! yours! Now lets talk some simple things to do for your curb appeal

FIrst is paint. A simple coat of paint on the exterior of the house goes a long way.  Its simple, just time consuming. Just try and not pick a color that clashes with the rest of the neighborhood. Yes, I know you want to paint your house hot pink or purple, but there is less of a market for people that want that color house.

Second is Landscaping. A little dirt work will make your yard pleasing to the eyes. Level the backyard out a little, i know that impossible in some areas,  but make it flat. Have you ever mowed the lawn with ruts? it makes it more difficult to cut, and plus its a lot more fun for kids to play on grass without ruts.  Lets about the grass on top of that newley leveled land. It doesn't have to golf course greens, green. A nice lawn without dead spots and nicely trimmed is always a plus. While you have the yard all tore up while landscaping add that sprinkler system. I don't know about you but i would rather mow than water the lawn

Last the extras. When i say extras i'm saying that fire pit in the back or the Gazebo. But remember less is more when it comes to this. You have to look at your house and the price point. A  custom made full wet bar and a bar rail to sit, might be an over kill for some houses. or that in ground pool that you think would be awesome in the backyard might not be what will sell your house or, you wont get your money back out of it. Now a simple fire pit with some brick work about it is always a nice touch  for a yard with a big enough back yard.

Simple thing go along way when your going for a nice curb appeal.  just remember not to over do it. Now go out there and enjoy the yard! before the snow starts to fly again. as you all know it will in ND
