Being Good at a job, and that's ANY JOB--the lasting effects and habits this can create......

Have you ever wondered why some people are happy doing their jobs and why some people are not? When you go into a convenience store or restaurant and the clerk is either friendly and helpful or less than thrilled to be there and doesn't care if they get you out the door in a timely matter or not? Well, I believe it does depend on the person and their attitude and that can make a bad job--- a great job. And, why not be great at every job you do!

Most people have to begin somewhere, whether it is washing dishes, cleaning houses, waiting tables, etc... we all have to do jobs whether we like them or not. How we handle the mundane tasks of refilling salt and pepper shakers on a daily basis or putting away hot plates, can be the difference of being great at a job or being poor at it.

Did you know that doing a job with a smile and happy attitude has a lasting effect on everyone around you and is scientifically proven to help you do the job better?

Doing a job right the first time, saves time!

Doing a job well ensures self satisfaction, which promotes a positive outlook on one's self.

Doing well or performing a great job, takes commitment, consistency and hard work, no matter what job! Potential managers, business partners, or referrals may be watching you; always perform your best!

Doing a good job promotes good habits; habits produce results, good or bad; so make them GREAT!

Happy December and see you at the next blog!
